School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Bloomington, Indiana
Job Description
Make an immediate impact in a supportive educational setting as a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis. You’ll contribute to the development and success of students in a school environment, providing essential speech and language support to help them achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams, educators, and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized assessments for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s individual needs
- Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support students’ speech and language development within the classroom and larger school environment
- Provide direct therapy (individual and/or group) targeting speech, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Deliver consultative services, resources, and strategies for classroom integration
