Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Beaverton, OR

Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ communication needs as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational environment near Beaverton, OR. Enjoy a balanced schedule, working 20 hours per week on-site across four days at two different schools. You’ll provide specialized services to approximately 25 students, all of whom receive special education support in a communication-focused classroom program. Your expertise will help shape students’ academic and social progress through targeted, individualized intervention.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of special education processes, compliance, and assessments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to create and implement IEPs and data-driven therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a diverse group of students
• Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Serve as a resource for communication support and strategies within the classroom
• Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school and program requirements
