Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Virginia SLP license
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred, but CFY applicants are encouraged)
- Experience in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students in individual and group sessions across the K-12 setting
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and communicate results with parents and educators
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support IEP goals and participate in eligibility meetings
- Provide guidance to support staff, teachers, and administrators on speech and language development
