School Psychologist - Cambridge, MA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students by providing critical psychological services during two extended leaves of absence in well-regarded local schools. This full-year contract opportunity involves working with both elementary and high school students, offering a broad range of experiences in a dynamic educational environment.

You’ll begin the school year covering an elementary school psychologist role from September through early November. You will conduct initial assessments, re-evaluations, chair IEP meetings, and offer tailored counseling to students, playing a vital role in their educational and emotional well-being.

Later in December, transition into a high school psychologist position, working closely with a supportive team of professionals. This segment of the contract will primarily focus on conducting psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students in the resource program, providing essential insights to further their academic success until early May.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Certification as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience with initial assessments, re-evaluations, and IEP processes
• Familiarity with MTSS or resource programs at the high school level
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Ability to pivot between elementary and high school settings
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment
