Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience working within school environments highly valued
- Capability to serve both elementary and high school populations
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with staff and families
- Approachable, flexible, and responsive to student needs
Role Overview:
- Deliver high-quality OT assessments, intervention, and consultation for students in accordance with IEP goals and state standards
- Serve three days per week at an elementary school, and one day at a high school
- Engage actively with educators, support teams, and families to support student success
- Document evaluations, progress, and services accurately
- Develop creative, student-centered strategies to promote independence and participation
- Attend team meetings and contribute to the comprehensive educational plans
- Maintain compliance with all district and licensing guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that empowers students
