Job Description:
PM1 is primarily a project support and project intake role within the Design Build organization supporting electric distribution design projects.
Responsible for project intake activities, SAP inputs, KPMG drawings, project coordination, documentation, vendor onboarding, SharePoint administration, invoice approvals, environmental forms, project setup, and administrative support for Project Managers.
Supports projects ranging from large feeder line work to transformer and pole replacement projects.
Designed as a development role for individuals interested in progressing into a PM2 position.
Execute project intake processes.
Create and maintain project documentation.
Work in SAP, SharePoint, Google Earth, and KPMG.
Coordinate with finance teams to establish projects.
Prepare project folders and onboarding materials.
Onboard vendors and manage permissions.
Support project managers on meetings and project calls.
Take meeting notes and track action items.
Process POs, PRs, SES invoicing, and invoice approvals.
Upload project documentation into SAP.
Assist with materials and supply requests.
Run reporting and data tracking for leadership.
Supports multiple Project Managers within the Design Build organization.
Works closely with PMs, finance teams, vendors, leadership, and internal stakeholders.

Full-time, 40 hours/week. Typical hours are approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Flexible start times between approximately 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM.

Approximately 2+ years of business support, project coordination, administrative, purchasing, utility, or related experience.
Good fit for someone seeking entry into project management.
Utility experience is beneficial but not required.
