OB Hospitalist

Our organization is on the lookout for OB Hospitalists to become part of our expanding, hospital-based team that supports a rapidly growing women's services program in Central and Southern Delaware.

With approximately 2,800 deliveries each year (1,800 in Kent and 1,000 in Sussex) and ongoing population growth, this position offers a chance to engage in a high-volume, well-supported setting, allowing you the flexibility to tailor the role to align with your career aspirations.

• Flexible scheduling options with 24-hour shifts available.

• Inpatient-only model—no outpatient clinic duties.

• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and a highly skilled nursing staff.

• Modern, centralized unit layout includes:

  • 10 Labor, Delivery, Recovery rooms and 4 OB Emergency Department/triage rooms.

  • 2 dedicated Operating Rooms located next to the NICU.

  • Efficiently designed pre-operative, PACU, and postpartum units.

• 24/7 in-house support from anesthesia, pediatrics, and neonatal specialists.

• Staffing adheres to ACOG A-1 perinatal guidelines to ensure safe, high-quality care.

• A high-volume program with robust and increasing demand.

• A collaborative, team-oriented approach involving CNMs, OB hospitalists, and specialists.
