Matchwell is hiring Respiratory Therapists (RTs) for one of our Acute Care partners in Chicago, IL! See below for more details.

Salary Range: Up to $48/HR

Schedule: Contract

Position Requirements:

\n
• Current and active RT License
\n
• 2 years of acute care experience (LTAC, Progressive Care, Step-down, Med-surg or ICU)
\n
• Current Tuberculosis screening
\n
• Current ACLS, BLS certifications
\n
• Hepatitis B, Influenza and COVID vaccinations or approved exemptions
\n
• Latex Allergy Screening
\n
• Background and Drug Screening
\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

\n
• Evaluate patient and recommend appropriate treatment plan
\n
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
\n
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
\n
• Promote continuous quality improvement
\n
• Teach and counsel patients/families
\n
