Job Description

This engaging, contract-based position is located near Mesquite, TX, and spans the full 2026-2027 school year, starting August 13th and ending May 21st. The role is structured for full-time service, offering 40 hours per week with guaranteed hours, perfect for professionals who value consistency and reliability.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting is highly desirable
- Current state licensure (or the ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as required
- No additional non-clinical school duties—focus exclusively on providing speech services during contracted hours
