Production Supervisor

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's team in Shotts on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic chance to take on a leadership role within a well-established and growing manufacturing business.

What's on offer?

• A full-time permanent position
\n
• Working week of Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm
\n
• Paid annually at 35,000 per annum
\n

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

\n
• Supervise daily bakery operations, ensuring production lines run efficiently with minimal downtime and waste
\n
• Lead, motivate, and support the production team to achieve performance, productivity, and service targets
\n
• Monitor and maintain health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards, ensuring full compliance with company procedures
\n
• Manage day-to-day people responsibilities, including attendance, return-to-work interviews, training, and performance support
\n
• Work closely with Production Managers and other departments to meet production plans, improve efficiency, and reduce downtime
\n

The ideal Production Supervisor will have:

\n
• Previous supervisory experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment is desirable
\n
• Good understanding of health & safety, food safety, quality standards, and HR policies
\n
• Confident using Microsoft Office and production management systems
\n
• Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and people management skills
\n
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and improve team performance
