Firestopper

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Firestopper to join a well-established passive fire protection contractor delivering works across Manchester and the surrounding areas. The Role As a Firestopper, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality passive fire protection works, ensuring all installations comply with current fire safety regulations and manufacturers' specifications. Responsibilities * Installing a range of passive fire protection systems. * Batt and mastic installations. * Fire collars, wraps and pipe sleeves. * Linear gap seals and fire-rated sealants. * Fire boarding and compartmentation works. * Installing cavity barriers where required. * Completing works in accordance with FIRAS/LPCB standards. * Accurately completing installation records and quality assurance paperwork. * Working safely whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship. Requirements * Previous experience as a Firestopper * NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection * CSCS Card * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong knowledge of firestopping products and compartmentation * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Salary & Benefits * £38,000 - £42,000 basic salary. * Company vehicle. * Fuel card. * Pension contributions. * Annual leave. * Ongoing training and development. * Long-term career progression. * Stable pipeline of secured work.
