HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Location: Various Locations across the South of England Salary: £17.00 - £30.00 per hour (depending on licence category or assignment) Job Type: Temporary | Ongoing | Ad Hoc | Temp to Perm | Full-time & Part-time Available About the Role Best Time Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of a number of established clients across the South of England. We have a variety of assignments available, including temporary, ongoing, ad hoc and temp-to-perm opportunities, offering flexible working patterns to suit your availability. Whether you're looking for full-time work, additional shifts, or a route into permanent employment, we have opportunities available immediately. What We Offer * Competitive pay from £17.00 to £30.00 per hour * Flexible shifts to suit your availability * Temporary, ongoing and ad hoc assignments * Temp-to-perm opportunities * Day, afternoon and night shifts available * Weekday and weekend work * Weekly PAYE pay * Immediate starts (subject to assessment where required) * Dedicated support from the Best Time Ltd team Key Responsibilities * Carry out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently * Complete daily vehicle safety checks * Load and unload goods where required * Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where applicable * Deliver excellent customer service * Comply with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures Requirements * Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence * Licence held for a minimum of 1 year * Minimum 1 year's driving experience in the relevant licence category * Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card) * Digital Tachograph Card * Maximum of 6 penalty points * No DD, DR, CD, DG or TT endorsements * Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach Why Join Best Time Ltd?
