Field Service Engineer - Material Handling £34,000 - £40,000 Deeside Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Forklift Engineer/Mechanic to work at their facility based near Deeside Performance Objectives * Service, maintenance, and repair of forklift trucks and other material handling / plant equipment * Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults * Deliver high?quality customer service on site * Maintain accurate job records and documentation via electronic tablets * Work independently with dealer support and resources Person Specification * Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Technician, or similar * NVQ in Plant Maintenance or Forklift Trucks (or equivalent) * Strong mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical diagnostic skills * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * A positive, professional approach with pride in your work Essential: * It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a good engineering background in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems; ideally you will be a multi-skilled engineer with a very good customer focus. * Industry Qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.) or equivalent * Must be an experience IT user as we use tablets to record job information * Current Driving License with no more than 6 points on licence Qualifications (Preferred): * Forklift Truck Operators License although not essential Apply Please send your CV via the Apply now option on the website If you have any questions or are interested in any other opportunities we may have, please do not hesitate to get in touch This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of gap technical who are operating as an employment agency. gap technical are committed to the selection, recruitment and development of the best people, basing judgements solely on suitability for the job.
