About the Role\n

Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Driver for a well-established client based in Doncaster.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for regular Monday to Friday night work. The role involves straightforward trunking with no manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy long-distance driving and well-planned routes.

\n

You'll complete scheduled trunk runs to London on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with Palletforce trunking on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Complete scheduled trunking runs safely and efficiently
\n
• Transport palletised freight between distribution centres
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
\n
• Complete transport paperwork accurately
\n
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and road safety
\n
• Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
\n
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Recent Class 1 driving experience
\n
• Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
\n
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
\n
