Business Systems Manager

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Applications & Business Systems Lead to oversee a portfolio of business-critical platforms that support operations across a growing international organisation.This position is responsible for ensuring enterprise applications are reliable, secure, integrated and continuously evolving to meet changing business needs. You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions to improve processes, deliver technology enhancements and maximise the value of existing systems.This is a hands-on leadership role combining solution design, application ownership, supplier management and technical delivery.What you'll be doingLead the ongoing development and optimisation of enterprise business applications.Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.Own the roadmap for core business systems, balancing operational support with continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee system integrations, data quality and information governance across multiple platforms.Ensure business applications remain secure, stable and compliant with organisational standards.Manage application upgrades, enhancements and change initiatives.Drive adoption of business systems through process improvement, documentation and user enablement.Develop reporting and analytical capabilities that improve operational visibility and decision making.Coordinate internal technical resources alongside external delivery partners and software vendors.Lead a small technical team, supporting development, prioritisation and performance.What we're looking forYou'll have experience managing enterprise business applications in a complex commercial environment and be comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams.We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:Enterprise application managementERP, CRM and digital commerce platformsSystems integration and application architectureBusiness intelligence and reporting solutionsData governance and information managementVendor and supplier managementSolution delivery and business transformationProcess improvement and automationTeam leadershipSkills & experienceSeveral years' experience managing enterprise business systems.Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise applications.Experience delivering application enhancements and technology projects.Knowledge of integration concepts, APIs and data flows.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Experience managing external technology partners.Commercial awareness with the ability to prioritise competing demands.Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.Nice to haveExperience with cloud-based enterprise platforms.Knowledge of reporting, analytics or data visualisation technologies.Familiarity with SQL or relational databases.Experience working within distribution, manufacturing, retail or similar operational environments.Project delivery or service management certifications.Success will be measured by your ability to:Improve adoption and effectiveness of enterprise applications.Streamline business processes through technology.Deliver reliable, secure and well-supported business systems.Enhance reporting and data-driven decision making.Build strong relationships across technical and business teams.Aimtech Recruitment is an equal opportunity employer.
