They're investing heavily in their technical function and are looking for a Quality Manager who can lead from the front, influence the wider business and continue driving standards across the site.This isn't just about ticking boxes.You'll be the person people turn to for quality. You'll work closely with Operations, Engineering and the Technical team to improve standards, solve problems before they become issues and build a culture where food safety and quality are everyone's responsibility.What you'll be doingLeading and developing a small Quality teamDriving GMP standards across the factoryManaging internal audits and supporting customer and BRC auditsInvestigating customer complaints and leading robust root cause analysisOwning traceability exercises and food safety verification activitiesMonitoring quality trends and working cross-functionally to improve performanceSupporting HACCP, TACCP and VACCP complianceDeputising for the Technical Manager when requiredPlaying a key role in continuous improvement projects across the siteWhat they're looking forYou'll already have experience in a Quality leadership role within food manufacturing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Ideally you'll bring:Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislationExperience with BRC and customer auditsA hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach and develop othersExcellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsConfidence influencing stakeholders across Production, Engineering and TechnicalLaboratory experience would be advantageous but isn't essentialWhy this role?This is a business that genuinely values its Technical team.
