Cyber Software Engineer Locations: London, Manchester and Gloucester Work Model: On Site Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Package Are you a Software Engineer looking to work on some of the UKs most complex cyber security challenges? This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled Operational Cyber team, developing innovative solutions that support critical national security missions.Youll work alongside experts in high-assurance development, vulnerability research, and cyber operations, applying your software engineering skills to solve real-world security challenges. Full training, mentorship, and development support will be provided.What you'll have the opportunity to work across:Design, develop, test, and document secure software solutions.Apply secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle.Contribute to peer reviews, technical collaboration, and knowledge sharing.Identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security mitigations.Work with emerging technologies and programming languages to deliver innovative solutions.What we need from you: Strong experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Java, or C#.Experience with scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, Perl, or PowerShell.Understanding of software development practices including unit testing, CI/CD, source control, and debugging.Knowledge of operating systems and core computing principles.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts effectively.A strong interest in cybersecurity and secure software development.What's in it for you?
