Health & Safety Officer

We are looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Health and Safety Officer to join the team to co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within Storage Giant are adhered to.The BenefitsWork-life balance28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)Fuel allowance (40p per mile)Free storage unit for you or your familyRecognition programs£250 reward for employee referralsFree on-site parkingSchedule40 Hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of:08:00 to 19.00The RequirementsMinimum 2 years of recent and relevant experience in a health and safety role.NEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or equivalent accreditationNEBOSH National Fire Certificate Fire Safety & Fire Safety ManagementCOSHH TrainedExperience in implementing and monitoring Fire Risk AssessmentsProven expertise in advising managers/supervisors, handling H&S investigations, and delivering trainingStrong knowledge of formulating, implementing, and revising H&S policies and proceduresUp-to-date understanding of Health and Safety laws and regulationsThe RoleAs the Health and Safety Officer, you'll report to the General Manager, ensuring and improving safety standards.Developing and implementing safety policies and proceduresConducting regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsProviding comprehensive safety training to employeesInvestigating and reporting incidents and accidentsCollaborating with department heads to maintain a secure working environmentThe CompanyStorage Giant is one of the UKs private leading self-storage providers.
