This position requires comprehensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, building fabric services, and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & OperationsExecute reactive maintenance repairs efficiently across the site, ensuring minimal disruption to building operationsConduct regular inspections of plumbing services, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they escalateMaintain engineering standards to maximize plant efficiency, reliability, and operational performanceApply logical fault-finding techniques to diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issuesTechnical DeliveryPerform comprehensive plumbing tasks including toilet and basin repair/replacement, tap and blending valve work, auto tap fault finding, instantaneous water heater maintenance, HW calorifier servicing, pipework repair, pump and valve replacement, TRV and radiator work, lagging, unblocking, gutter cleaning, macerator replacement, and immersion heater replacementComplete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks including pump servicing, UVHW calorifier inspections, blending valve servicing, temperature testing and flushing, instantaneous water heater maintenance, AC/AHU filter replacement, emergency light testing, and functional equipment inspectionsSource and quote for necessary parts and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurementUpdate and close completed reactive and PPM tasks within the client's CAFM systemCompliance & DocumentationEnsure strict adherence to JLL and client Health & Safety procedures at all timesMaintain compliance with company QA and site-specific proceduresProduce detailed, accurate reports documenting remedial works requirementsUpdate on-site logbooks for compliance purposes and complete all required certificates and documentationDevelop and complete on-site Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessaryWork consistently to recognized industry standardsCollaboration & DevelopmentCoordinate effectively with client-approved contractors to ensure seamless service deliveryProvide technical guidance and advice to line management and facilities teamsSupport other trades as required to ensure overall site operational excellenceParticipate in ongoing training including health and safety courses and professional development to maintain current knowledge and qualifications (CPD)Maintain all company-issued tools in safe, working conditionEssential Qualifications & ExperienceQualificationsC&G 6035 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies or recognized equivalent qualification/apprenticeshipBPEC Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999UVHW CertificateLegionella / L8 QualificationExperience & KnowledgeExtensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systemsComprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulationsBasic electrical skills (advantageous)Personal AttributesSelf-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work unsupervisedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorStrong team player who contributes to collective success while following direction effectivelyAdaptable and flexible approach with willingness to embrace changeLogical problem-solver with strong analytical capabilitiesWhat We OfferCompensation & RecognitionCompetitive salary with annual pay reviewsPerformance-based annual bonusEnhanced overtime rates: 1.5x weekdays, 2x weekends, plus day in lieu on bank holidaysStandby rate: £15 per day (£50 on bank holidays)Time Off & Flexibility24 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rated for shift workers)Holiday buy/sell scheme: purchase up to 5 additional days, sell up to 2 daysFinancial WellbeingLife assuranceAuto-enrollment company pension schemeSalary sacrifice electric vehicle schemeCycle to work schemeEmployee discounts with various brandsHealth & WellbeingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) providing confidential supportCareer DevelopmentComprehensive learning and development programsProfessional training opportunitiesClear career progression pathways within JLL's global organizationWhat You Can Expect From UsYou'll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture where we succeed together-across the desk and around the globe.
