About the Company I am currently working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an Assistant Commercial Manager to join their growing team in West Sussex. Following a review of the market, the business has increased the package to ensure they attract the calibre of candidate required for this role.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of a high-profile contract, working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams to drive performance, manage risk and maximise commercial value.ResponsibilitiesSupporting commercial governance and contract compliance activities.Assisting with change control and variation management processes.Monitoring and mitigating commercial, operational and financial risks.Supporting cost control, billing, cash flow and financial reporting.Working closely with operational, project, finance and supply chain teams.Supporting commercial audits and compliance reviews.Identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve service delivery and profitability.Building strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsPrevious experience within Facilities Management, Hard FM or a contract-led commercial environment.Required SkillsStrong commercial and financial awareness.Experience supporting contract performance and managing commercial risk.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.Pay range and compensation packageThe package on offer is £60,000 - £65,000, which can be structured as either:£60,000 salary + £5,000 car allowance.£65,000 basic salary with no car allowance.The business is also committed to offering greater flexibility and is open to conversations with:Full-time candidates.Part-time candidates.Individuals requiring flexible working hours.Whilst there is an expectation to be on-site a minimum of three days per week, the business understands that flexible arrangements may be needed and is happy to discuss individual circumstances.In addition to the permanent opportunity, the client is also interested in speaking with experienced professionals who may be available for a fixed-term interim contract of approximately two months while the permanent recruitment process is underway.Equal Opportunity StatementIf you are an experienced commercial professional within the FM sector, or know someone who could be suitable for either the permanent or interim opportunity, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.TPBN1_UKTJ
