We're seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join a successful business representing a portfolio of recognised global brands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA who wants broad exposure across accounting, reporting, cash flow and financial operations.

What you'll be doing:

Processing sales and purchase invoices in Sage

Supporting weekly payment runs and cash flow reporting Bank, VAT and balance sheet reconciliations.

Assisting with month-end and quarter-end processes.

Preparing financial reports and Excel schedules

Supporting budgeting activities and the Financial Controller on key projects

What we're looking for:

2+ years' experience in finance or accountancy practice

Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge

Good Excel skills

Studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA

Positive attitude, strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
