Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an experienced FP&A Manager to join a growing and ambitious business based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes while leading a small team and supporting senior stakeholders across the business.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the FP&A Manager will play a key role in driving commercial decision-making through insightful analysis, robust financial modelling and strong financial controls.

The Role

\n

Key responsibilities will include:

\n
    \n
  • Leading the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
  • \n
  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • \n
  • Delivering insightful management information and performance analysis to senior stakeholders
  • \n
  • Supporting business planning, investment appraisals and scenario analysis
  • \n
  • Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through detailed financial analysis
  • \n
  • Managing and developing a small FP&A team of 2-3 staff
  • \n
  • Business partnering with operational and commercial leaders across the organisation
  • \n
  • Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • \n
  • Ensuring strong financial governance and controls are maintained
  • \n

The Candidate

\n

The successful FP&A Manager will:

\n
    \n
  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • \n
  • Have strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
  • \n
  • Possess excellent technical accounting knowledge and a strong financial controls background
  • \n
  • Demonstrate previous experience managing or mentoring a small team
  • \n
  • Be highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • \n
  • Have strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
  • \n
  • Be comfortable influencing and challenging senior decision-makers
  • \n
  • Possess advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
  • \n
