Warehouse Manager – Slough
\nWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team based in Slough.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive warehouse professional with a proven track record of leading warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising the warehouse structure, managing a mixed warehouse team, and ensuring high standards of accuracy, productivity, safety, and accountability. This is a hands-on leadership role, so you must be comfortable leading by example and supporting the team where required.

- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm \n
- Occasional weekend work as required \n
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead and manage the warehouse team on a day-to-day basis, setting priorities and maintaining productivity. \n
- Review and restructure warehouse processes, layouts and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity. \n
- Implement clear warehouse procedures and best practices to create a well-organised and high-performing operation. \n
- Oversee goods in, goods out, stock control, and dispatch activities. \n
- Maintain high standards of health and safety and warehouse compliance. \n
- Manage staff performance, attendance and development, holding team members accountable where necessary. \n
- Coordinate and book UK outbound shipments, working closely with logistics and freight providers. \n
- Monitor warehouse performance, identify areas for continuous improvement and implement practical solutions. \n
- Lead by example by supporting warehouse operations whenever required. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Previous Warehouse Management experience is essential. \n
- Proven experience managing or supervising a warehouse team within the UK. \n
- Experience restructuring or improving warehouse operations is highly desirable. \n
- Strong leadership skills with the confidence to motivate, develop and manage people effectively. \n
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills. \n
- A hands-on management style with the ability to work operationally when required. \n
- Strong attention to detail. \n
- Experience working with logistics or freight is highly desirable. \n
- A valid forklift licence is desirable. \n
