Responsibilities

  • In this Motor Claims Manager role, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of a corporate client motor recovery team. You'll work closely with the management teams to deliver exceptional client service and achieve key targets.
  • \n
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • \n
      \n
    • Leading and mentoring a team of claims handlers, ensuring they meet client service level agreements and key performance indicators.
    • \n
    • Acting as the key link between claims handlers and the management teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
    • \n
    • Overseeing the documentation of recovery procedures and preparing for client service reviews.
    • \n
    • Monitoring team performance, providing training, and addressing any issues in a fair and timely manner.
    • \n
    • Managing high-profile or contentious cases, ensuring quality standards are met and client outcomes are optimised.
    • \n
    • Supporting financial targets by controlling the claim lifecycle and assisting with aged debt recovery

Qualifications

\n

  • Experience in motor claims handling within a legal, insurance, or claims management environment, including pre-litigated claims.
  • \n
  • Team management and people responsibility experience within a similar setting.
  • \n
  • Proven experience working as a Claim Manager and working directly with clients, including hosting client meetings.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high performance.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • \n
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • \n
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • \n
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to accommodate unexpected situations.
  • \n
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
