We’re hiring: Band 8a Psychologist

Location: Uxbridge

Contract: Long-term contract

We’re looking for an experienced Band 8a Psychologist to join a well-established service in Uxbridge on a long-term contract.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled psychologist seeking a stable role where they can make a meaningful difference while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The role:

  • \n

    Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention

    • \n
  • \n

    Manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care

    • \n
  • \n

    Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient outcomes

    • \n
  • \n

    Offer clinical leadership and specialist advice within the service

    • \n
  • \n

    Contribute to service development, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives

    • \n
\n

What we’re looking for:

  • \n

    HCPC-registered Psychologist

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous experience working at Band 8a level or equivalent

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience managing complex clinical presentations

    • \n
  • \n

    Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary working skills

    • \n
