Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major long-term project.The RoleAs Freelance Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing the delivery of an 80-week concrete frame project from inception through to completionLeading site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budgetCoordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representativesDeveloping and managing construction programmes and monitoring project progressEnsuring compliance with all health & safety, quality, and environmental standardsManaging project resources and resolving operational challenges efficientlyWorking closely with commercial teams to monitor project costs, variations, and programme implicationsChairing site meetings and providing regular progress updates to senior management and clientsIdentifying and mitigating project risks to ensure successful deliveryBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleThe Ideal CandidateThe successful Freelance Project Manager will have:Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering major construction projectsEssential experience managing concrete frame projectsPrevious experience working on high-rise residential, mixed-use, or large-scale structural developmentsStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent programme management and organisational abilitiesSound knowledge of health & safety legislation and construction best practicesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detailRelevant construction qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent)SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualificationsFull UK Driving LicenceAvailability to start at short notice would be advantageousWhat's on OfferCompetitive day rate of £400 - £450Long-term 80-week contractOpportunity to lead a prestigious flagship concrete frame projectExposure to technically challenging, high-value developmentsSupportive and experienced project delivery teamOpportunity to work with a leading specialist contractor on a landmark schemeApply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
