SEND Teacher - Specialist Resource Provision
Job Description
SEND Teacher - Specialist Resource Provision
\n\nTower Hamlets, East London
\nSeptember 2026 - July 2027 | Full-Time
\nMPS1-MPS6 | £226-£268 per day (dependent on experience)
\n\nExceptional opportunities in SEND don't come around often.
\nSANZA Teaching Agency is proud to partner with an outstanding, inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a dedicated SEND Teacher for its expanding Specialist Resource Provision from September 2026.
\n\nFollowing the continued success of the provision, the school is opening a brand-new specialist class, creating an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join an established and highly supportive team. If you're passionate about inclusive education and want to make a genuine impact every day, this could be the perfect next step.
\n\nWhy This School Stands Out
\n\nThis is a school where inclusion is woven into everything they do. The Specialist Resource Provision has quickly built an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding outcomes for children with complex SEND, thanks to exceptional leadership, expert staffing and a collaborative approach.
\n\nYou'll benefit from:
\n\nA flourishing Specialist Resource Provision entering its third successful year
\nA purpose-built learning environment developed in partnership with Phoenix School
\nSmall class sizes of no more than 10 pupils
\nFour experienced Teaching Assistants supporting every class
\nCollaborative planning and shared expertise with a parallel SEND Teacher
\nA welcoming mainstream primary with an inclusive ethos at its heart
\nLeadership that genuinely values staff wellbeing, development and work-life balance
\n\nThis vacancy has arisen because the provision is expanding-not because of staff turnover-highlighting the school's continued growth and success.
\n\nThe Role
\nAs the class teacher, you'll lead a small group of pupils with complex SEND, delivering personalised learning experiences that enable every child to thrive.
\n\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n\nPlanning and delivering creative, highly differentiated lessons
\nBuilding a nurturing, structured classroom where pupils feel confident and secure
\nWorking closely with four skilled Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress
\nCollaborating with the parallel SEND Teacher to share ideas and develop curriculum
\nSupporting communication, emotional regulation, independence and academic achievement
\nHelping shape the future of this expanding specialist provision
\nAbout You
\n\nWe're keen to hear from teachers who:
\n\nHold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\nHave experience working with pupils with SEND in either mainstream or specialist settings
\nAre passionate about inclusive education and personalised learning
\nAre patient, creative and adaptable in their teaching approach
\nEnjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
\nBelieve every child deserves the opportunity to succeed
\nWhy Join This School?
\n\nStaff describe the school as welcoming, supportive and genuinely collaborative. Leaders are approachable, invest heavily in professional development and ensure staff have the resources they need to succeed.
\n\nWhether you're an experienced SEND specialist or looking to build on existing SEND experience, you'll be joining a school that values innovation, teamwork and high-quality inclusive practice.
