We're looking for an experienced Senior React Developer to join a growing engineering team delivering secure, user-focused digital services for high-profile public sector programmes. This is an opportunity to work on modern, cloud-based applications that have a real impact, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment.

Based in Leeds, you'll work on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel to customer sites as project requirements dictate.

The Role\n

As a Senior React Developer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing scalable front-end applications using modern JavaScript technologies. You'll work closely with UX designers, back-end engineers, DevOps specialists and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions while mentoring junior developers and promoting engineering best practices.

    Developing responsive, accessible web applications using React and TypeScript.

    Building reusable components and scalable front-end architectures.

    Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

    Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

  • \n

    Participating in code reviews and driving engineering standards.

    Supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.

About You\n

You'll be a passionate front-end engineer with strong commercial experience delivering enterprise-scale React applications.

You'll have experience with:

    React.js and TypeScript.

    • \n
  • \n

    Modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.

    • \n
  • \n

    State management libraries such as Redux or Context API.

    • \n
  • \n

    REST APIs and asynchronous programming.

  • \n

    Testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

    • \n
  • \n

    Git and collaborative development workflows.

    • \n
  • \n

    Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

    • \n
  • \n

    CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.

Desirable experience includes:
