What you’ll be doing as Quantity Surveyor: Reporting directly to the directors, you'll take ownership of a wide range of commercial activities across multiple projects, supporting both pre-contract and post-contract functions. You'll be responsible for pricing works, managing costs, producing commercial reports and working closely with our operational teams to maximise project performance. • Pricing tenders and negotiated works
\n
• Preparing estimates and cost plans
\n
• Producing monthly CVRs and commercial reports
\n
• Managing applications for payment
\n
• Valuing and agreeing variations
\n
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts
\n
• Procuring subcontractors and suppliers
\n
• Cost forecasting and margin analysis
\n
• Supporting operational teams with commercial advice
\n
• Developing commercial systems and reporting procedures
\n
• Working closely with the directors to support business growth
\n

What we’re looking for in a Quantity Surveyor\n

\n
• Experience in the role or as an Assistant QS
\n
• Experience in NHF SoR will be a significant advantage
\n
• Experience within social housing, refurbishment or planned maintenance is preferred
\n
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
\n
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
\n
• Experience producing CVRs, valuations and commercial reports
\n
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload
\n
• Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop within a growing business
\n
