Cloud Engineer (OpenShift/Kubernetes)Hybrid (2 days onsite) | Initial 6 month contract | Start ASAP | £500-590pd inside IR35
\nWe're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a major infrastructure transformation programme, helping build and modernise a new enterprise private cloud platform. If you have strong OpenShift and Kubernetes experience and enjoy building scalable infrastructure, this is an opportunity to make a real impact on a business-critical programme.
\nThis is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale modernisation initiative, helping build a next-generation platform based on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. You'll join an experienced engineering team at a critical stage of delivery, bringing immediate expertise to accelerate the programme.
\nWhat you'll be doing
\n- \n
- Building and deploying a new enterprise hosting platform \n
- Working with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes to modernise infrastructure \n
- Collaborating with architects, engineers and delivery teams across the programme \n
- Supporting platform engineering and infrastructure build activities \n
- Helping streamline delivery on a high-profile transformation programme \n
What we're looking for
\nWe're keen to speak with hands-on Platform Engineers who have experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure projects.
\nYou'll ideally have experience with:
\n- \n
- Red Hat OpenShift \n
- Kubernetes \n
- Platform or Infrastructure Engineering \n
- Infrastructure automation (Ansible is highly desirable) \n
- Networking fundamentals \n
Experience working on infrastructure transformation or platform modernisation programmes would be highly beneficial.
\nWorking Arrangements
\n- \n
- Hybrid working - typically 2 days onsite from your nearest office (offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham or Slough), with flexibility around which days you attend. \n
- Flexible approach to office days (Tuesday is the main collaboration day) \n
- Initial 6 month contract with an immediate start preferred \n
