\nA rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a long-established and highly respected law firm in the heart of Glasgow.
\nThis leadership role is ideal for a Senior Associate or existing Partner looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the growth and future direction of an established Family Law practice.
\nThe Role
\nYou will lead a small and successful Family Law team, managing a broad range of privately funded family matters while helping to develop and expand the department. The firm offers significant autonomy, strong internal support, and the opportunity to shape the team around your vision.
\nFor candidates not currently operating at Partner level, there is a clear and achievable pathway to partnership, supported by a genuine succession planning strategy.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the Family Law department \n
- Manage a varied caseload of family law matters \n
- Supervise and mentor junior team members \n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships \n
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the practice \n
- Participate in business development and networking activities \n
About You
\n- \n
- Qualified Solicitor with significant Family Law experience \n
- Senior Associate, Legal Director, or Partner level candidate \n
- Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness \n
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver excellent service \n
- Leadership experience or aspirations to lead a team \n
- Interest in business development and growing a practice area \n
