\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operation of the Labour Department Helpdesk and engineering resource planning. \n
- Allocate engineers to reactive and planned works, ensuring contractual service levels are achieved. \n
- Monitor work in progress, maintenance schedules and fixed-price works to ensure timely completion. \n
- Maintain accurate records within the Corrigo system, including job updates, engineer information and management reports. \n
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and assist with tablet and system-related issues. \n
- Manage engineer availability, including holidays, overtime, on-call rotas, sickness and timesheet approval. \n
- Support recruitment, inductions, training, appraisals and the development of engineering staff and apprentices. \n
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure effective communication and resource utilisation. \n
- Produce operational and performance reports, including overtime and departmental KPI reporting. \n
- Drive continuous improvement of departmental processes, systems and procedures. \n
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, quality, environmental and legal requirements. \n

- Strong technical knowledge gained through hands-on engineering experience. \n
- Good understanding of engineering operations, maintenance activities and resource planning. \n
- Experience supervising or managing engineering teams, including workload allocation, performance support and staff development. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Recognised technical apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Services or similar). \n
