\nAbout the Role
\nWe are working with local Practice to recruit a General Practitioner (GP) to support their team on a locum basis, working Tuesday, Thursday, with optional Fridays available if desired.
\nThis is a great opportunity to join a well-organised and supportive practice, offering a manageable workload and strong administrative systems to support clinical care.
\nKey Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality primary care consultations (face-to-face and/or telephone)

Manage a routine and acute patient caseload
\n - \n
Provide safe and effective clinical decision-making and patient management
\n - \n
Complete clinical documentation in line with practice and NHS standards
\n - \n
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
\n
Practice Overview

Average list size of approximately 6,500 patients
\n - \n
Standard 15-minute appointments
\n - \n
Heidi transcription software in place to support documentation
\n - \n
Automated lab reporting systems
\n - \n
Docman workflow system with typically 7–10 letters per day
\n - \n
On-site parking available for staff
\n
What We’re Looking For

GMC registered GP with Licence to Practise

Experience working in UK primary care
\n - \n
Strong clinical and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
