Supply Chain Platform ManagerDuration - 12 months initiallyLocation - PortsmouthHourly Rate - £28 PAYE or £37.61 UmbrellaWorking Arrangements - 4 days per week on siteBAE Systems is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Platform Manager to support our Fleet Time Engineering (FTE) ship repair and maintenance programmes.Working closely with Project, Engineering, Operations, Commercial teams, the Royal Navy and key suppliers, you'll lead supply chain activity to ensure critical materials and services are delivered safely, on time and within budget.Key responsibilities:Lead supply chain delivery across complex ship maintenance and repair programmesDevelop and manage material supply plans and procurement strategiesDrive performance, risk management and issue resolution across the supply chainManage supplier relationships and stakeholder engagementMonitor programme KPIs, budgets and delivery performanceSupport programme bids, reviews and governance activitiesWe're looking for:Strong experience leading supply chain activities within complex programmesKnowledge of procurement, logistics and supplier relationship managementExperience working within defence, maritime or engineering environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong commercial and project management awarenessThis is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the operational readiness of critical naval assets while working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.TPBN1_UKTJ
