You'll work independently while delivering a professional, friendly service that gives customers confidence in the equipment they rely on every day.Your responsibilities will include:Installing and commissioning stairlifts and ceiling track hoist systemsDiagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faultsCarrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenanceResponding to breakdowns and emergency call-outsManaging your own diary and daily scheduleCompleting service reports and compliance paperworkEnsuring all work meets manufacturer standards and health & safety requirementsProviding excellent customer service in domestic settingsTaking part in a 1-in-4 emergency call-out rotaWhat We're Looking ForEssentialExperience installing and servicing stairliftsStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience working independently in a field service environmentExcellent customer service and communication skillsFull UK driving licenceWillingness to participate in the on-call rotaDBS check (or willingness to obtain one)DesirableExperience with ceiling track hoists or other mobility equipmentKnowledge of LOLER and lifting equipment regulationsElectrical qualification (18th Edition, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)Background in healthcare, assisted living or mobility engineeringManual handling trainingWhy Join Us?This isn't just another engineering role.
