The successful candidate will play a key role in the recycling process by operating baling equipment and ensuring recyclable materials are processed efficiently. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term stability with a well-established company.The Role As a Baler Operative, your responsibilities will include:Operating the baling machine safely and efficientlyLoading and processing recyclable materials including cardboard, plastic and other waste streamsMonitoring the baling process and reporting any faults or maintenance requirementsTying, labelling and moving completed bales ready for collection or storageKeeping the work area clean, tidy and organisedCarrying out manual handling duties as requiredFollowing all health & safety procedures and site regulationsSupporting the wider recycling team with general warehouse and yard duties when requiredWhat We're Looking For Previous experience within a recycling, warehouse, production or waste environment is desirable but not essentialGood level of physical fitness as the role involves manual handlingReliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood awareness of health and safety proceduresFlexible to work a rotating 5 out of 7 day shift patternWhat We Offer £13.00 per hourFull-time hours on a consistent rotaTemp to perm opportunityWeekly pay while working through Quest EmploymentOn-site training providedFriendly and supportive working environmentOpportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing businessIf you're looking for a long-term opportunity and are ready to join a hardworking team, apply today with Quest Employment .
