Join Amplius and be part of a skilled teamdelivering high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across customers homes, communal areas and empty properties.The basicsSalary: £37,729.31 per yearContract: PermanentLocation: Amplius south region (Milton Keynes and surrounding areas)Work hours: Monday to Friday (4 days 08.30am - 5pm & 1 day 10am - 6pm)What youll getCompany van, fuel card, tools, PPE and uniformSupport from experienced colleagues and wider property teamsOpportunities to develop your skills and grow within the organisationPaid participation in an out-of-hours standby rota (where applicable)What youll be doingCarrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, valves, sanitary fittings and pipeworkDiagnosing faults accurately and completing repairs on a first-time fix basis wherever possibleEnsuring all work meets health & safety requirements, water regulations and internal standardsWorking in customers homes, communal areas and empty properties to deliver a responsive serviceRecording job details, materials used and outcomes using mobile technologyWorking collaboratively with other trades to complete multi-skilled repairs where neededManaging tools, equipment and stock responsiblyIdentifying and reporting safeguarding, compliance or property concernsTaking part in a 24-hour standby rota service when requiredWhat youll needNVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)Experience in domestic plumbing repairs in occupied and/or empty homesGood understanding of water systems and how to diagnose faultsAbility to find and fix issues first time where possibleKnowledge of water regulations and safe working practicesGood communication and customer service skills in peoples homesAble to work on your own and manage your workloadComfortable using a mobile device to record job detailsFull UK driving license and willingness to travelAble to pass a DBS check and eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)Applications will close on 2 August.
