If so, this could be the role for you...We are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers , to join our busy and dynamic transport team in Mossend (Scotland). You will be working for a leading logistics company and involved in ensuring that the some of the UKs major retailers have sufficient stock to supply their customer's needs. Working in partnership with key customers such as Argos , TK Maxx , and Superdrug .You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on the shift pattern of Any 4 or 5 from 7 with start times across the 24-hour period.Pay, benefits and more:Basic salary of £41,717 per annum with the potential to earn £48,563 with full shift allowanceOvertime rate of £25.07 per hour when working an additional shift or if 10-week average hours are higher than 480 hoursAdditional Weekend rate of £4.47 per hour28 days Holiday Pay (inclusive of bank holidays) with an additional day after 1 years continuous servicePermanent employment contract with an ever evolving and growing market leaderCompany sponsored pension schemeOn-going annual CPC training provided by on site professional driver trainersA 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programmeAccess to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, Salary Sacrifice schemes (EVs and Cycle to Work), cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!Access to GXO University home to a wealth of online training courses, meaning your development never ends!Extensive wellbeing programmes and initiatives accessible to all employeesWhat you'll do on a typical day:Deliver goods to a variety of UK retailers in High Street or Retail Parks across ScotlandEnsure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shiftAdhere to specific time restrictions given under current legislationSupport with loading and unloading and make sure empty cages and pallets are returned to the siteProvide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with store staff and following all company policies and proceduresWhat you need to be successful at GXO:Must hold a full EU licence with category C+E entitlementA valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)Must hold Digital tachograph cardNo more than 6 current penalty points on licenceNo DR, DG, DD, BA, CD.AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 yearsStrong communication skills, particularly verbal, to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customersExperience of multi drop collection and deliveries together with experience of working in a warehouse environment will be an advantage, although full training will be providedWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.TPBN1_UKTJ
