Salary: Up to £62,000 per annum - depending on skills and experienceLocation: Gloucestershire (hybrid working with some cross-site presence required)About the Role:We are supporting the appointment of a Capital & Estates Contract Manager within a high-performing NHS environment. This is a pivotal commercial role responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, high-value contracts across capital, estates and facilities services.You will play a key role in ensuring robust commercial governance, effective contract performance, and delivery of value for money, while supporting a broad range of operational and corporate stakeholders.Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide specialist contractual and commercial advice, lead supplier relationship management, and contribute to the development of commercial strategies aligned to organisational objectives.This is a hybrid role with regular cross-site working across Gloucestershire.What Youll Be Doing:Lead the end-to-end management of complex, high-value contracts within capital, estates, and facilitiesMonitor supplier performance against KPIs, quality standards, and financial frameworksIdentify risks, underperformance, and compliance issues, implementing corrective actionsProvide expert commercial and contractual advice to operational and corporate stakeholdersManage contract variations, ensuring appropriate governance, financial scrutiny, and documentationSupport procurement activity including tendering, mobilisation, and contract transitionsDrive supplier relationship management and performance review processesContribute to commercial reporting, performance dashboards, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and internal governance requirementsWho Were Looking For:A commercially astute contract management professional with experience managing complex, high-value contractsStrong understanding of public sector procurement, governance frameworks, and commercial best practiceProven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders across operational and corporate functionsExperience in supplier management, performance monitoring, and dispute resolutionExcellent financial acumen, with the ability to analyse budgets and contract performanceHighly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environmentStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skillsIdeally CIPS qualified (Level 5+) or able to demonstrate equivalent experienceExperience within NHS or wider public sector environments is desirableWorking Environment:Hybrid working with regular cross-site presence across Gloucestershire hospitalsExposure to complex, high-value contracts and a broad stakeholder landscapeOpportunity to work within a collaborative commercial and estates functionA role offering both operational impact and strategic contributionContact Us:For a confidential discussion and the full job description, please contact:John LavictoireDirector Seymour JohnPublic ServicesSeymour John will manage all applications, and any third-party submissions will be automatically redirected to us.TPBN1_UKTJ
