Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to play a key role in enabling data-driven decision making. This position will lead the design, development and optimisation of reporting and analytics solutions, with a strong emphasis on Power BI.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements ManagementLead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements across multiple functionsFacilitate workshops to capture current and future state processesProduce clear documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process mapsEnsure alignment between business needs and delivered solutionsData & Reporting (Power BI)Develop and maintain Power BI reports aligned to business requirementsBuild and optimise data models, including DAX calculations and performance tuningEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and governance (including row-level security)Manage data refresh schedules, gateways, and dataset performanceTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insightsCollaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting frameworksProcess Improvement & Change SupportIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation, and data qualitySupport business change initiatives, including system implementations and process improvementsDevelop and maintain process documentation and training materialsSupport end users in adopting new systems and ways of workingProject & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and ITManage workload and deliverables in line with agreed timelinesIdentify risks and issues, escalating where appropriate with proposed solutionsProvide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and outcomesEssential ExperienceMinimum 3 years experience with Power BI, including advanced data modelling, performance optimisation, and reusable datasetsProven experience integrating multiple data sources (e.g. SQL, APIs, SharePoint) within an enterprise environmentExperience working across multiple business functions, ideally including Supply Chain and CommercialStrong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution designEssential Skills & KnowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced expertise in DAX and Power BI data modellingAbility to translate business requirements into clear documentationExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsUnderstanding of business process improvement methodologiesCollaborative and inclusive working styleStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityProactive, solution-focused mindsetHigh attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlinesDesirable ExperienceKnowledge of data structures, data warehousing, or SQLExperience within FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environmentsExperience working with complex enterprise systems (e.g. ERP platforms)Understanding of data visualisation best practices, including dashboard UX/UIIf you have are an experienced Data Analyst, looking for a new opportunity, please submit an up to date CV by using the apply button.By applying for this position, you confirm that you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the purposes of recruitment, employment and working finding service.TPBN1_UKTJ
