Abstract Recruitment is recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck & Warehouse Operative to join a global leader in logistics services with over 40 years of experience and operations across 60 countries.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established team, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.Why Join Us?Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.Work for a global logistics company with an excellent reputation.Friendly and supportive working environment.Career development opportunities.Job DescriptionThis is a multitask role , consisting of approximately 3 0% Reach Truck driving and 70% warehouse duties .Your responsibilities will include:Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently.Picking and sorting stock accurately.Wrapping pallets and locating freight in the correct warehouse locations.Loading containers and re-stacking pallets when required.Supporting general warehouse operations.Following all health and safety procedures.RequirementsValid, in-date Reach Truck licence essential (non-negotiable).Previous Reach Truck experience is preferred.Good understanding of English, including reading, counting and following instructions.Basic computer skills.Physically fit and able to carry out warehouse duties, including container loading and pallet re-stacking.Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.A minimum of 5 years' employment history to demonstrate reliability.A DBS check will be required.Shift PatternTraining Period (first few weeks):Monday to Friday10:00 AM 6:00 PMStandard Shift:Monday to Friday12:00 PM 8:00 PMPay Rate:£13.50 per hourTPBN1_UKTJ
