We are proud of our collaborative culture, our commitment to professional growth, and our unwavering belief that every child deserves an exceptional education.As our school continues to flourish, we are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning, skilled in supporting pupils with SEND, and excited to contribute to the ongoing development of our provision.What you will be doingPlanning and delivering high-quality teaching for individuals and small groupsMonitoring, assessing and reporting on pupil progressContributing to whole-school development and improvementCreating stimulating, well-organised learning environmentsDeveloping and reviewing IEPs, behaviour plans and personalised learning pathwaysWorking collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and multi-professional teamsEnsuring pupil safety through effective planning and risk assessmentSupporting pupils to develop self-regulation and positive behaviourMaintaining accurate records in line with school and regulatory requirementsSafeguarding all pupils and promoting their wellbeingWhat you will bringQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentA passion for PE that inspires participation, confidence and wellbeingThe ability to thrive in a fun, purposeful and sometimes challenging environmentStrong relationship-building skills, using restorative practice and teamwork to engage pupilsResilience, approachability and the ability to remain calm under pressureExcellent communication skills and a genuine passion for motivating pupilsCreativity in teaching, with a focus on bringing out the best in every learnerA full driving licenceAbout UsGroveside School is a Special Educational Needs School for Pupils 7 - 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
