Multi Trade Operative

We are currently looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to work on a social housing voids programme covering the Buxton area for a well-established housing maintenance contractor.This opportunity is with a respected maintenance provider delivering refurbishment works to empty social housing properties. We're looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative with a strong joinery background and good plumbing skills who is available to start as soon as possible, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position if desired!I'd be keen to speak to anyone with experience working within social housing, refurbishment or maintenance, whether you've previously worked as a Multi-Trade Operative, Joiner, Carpenter, Kitchen Fitter, Maintenance Operative or in a similar role.As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be:Carrying out refurbishment works to void (empty) social housing propertiesCompleting a range of joinery and carpentry repairs, including fitting doors, kitchens and internal woodworkUndertaking plumbing work as part of kitchen and bathroom replacementsCompleting general making-good and finishing works to bring properties back to a lettable standardWorking across multiple properties throughout Buxton, Glossop, New Mills, Whaley Bridge and surrounding areasI'd love to speak to anyone who has:Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative with a joinery/carpentry biasGood plumbing skills, particularly within kitchen and bathroom installationsPrevious experience working within social housing or void property refurbishment (desirable)A full UK driving licenceThe ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanshipAvailability to start as soon as possibleThis Multi-Trade Operative role is offering the following benefits:Up to £22 - £25 per hourWeekly pay (CIS payments available)Company van available, or a higher rate may be considered if using your own van37.5 hours per weekLong term, self-employed contractTemporary contract with the opportunity to become permanentImmediate start availableLocation & TravelThe role covers the High Peak and Glossop area, including Buxton, New Mills, Whaley Bridge and surrounding locations .
