We offer structured training and clear progression routes to help you build a rewarding engineering career.Role Purpose:As a Contract Supervisor you will manage engineering assets to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations with minimal disruptions. You will oversee reactive works, ensuring requests are handled promptly and in line with procedures, and develop management tools to monitor asset and building performance, providing recommendations for improvement.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Upload quotes to Web Quote for client approval and ensure reactive tasks are completed within SLAAttend daily meetings and submit weekly staff and subcontractor rotas on timeCarry out routine PPM on electrical and mechanical plant, complete reactive tasks promptly, and maintain adequate spares with inventory and timescale estimatesKeep Computer-Based Maintenance Systems up to date with accurate PPM and reactive dataPrepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments, ensuring good engineering practices and a safe work environment with uniforms and PPECompile monthly reports for managers and clientsBuild positive relationships with Smart staff, subcontractors, and client representativesKeep all plant rooms secure, clean, and well-maintainedEducation and Training:Formally trained in engineering discipline to City and Guilds Level 3 of NVQ Level 3Experience in a similar roleWhy SMART?Mandatory Leave on your BirthdayLife-Event LeaveLife Assurance25 Days annual leave + Bank HolidaysThree fully paid volunteering daysHoliday-Buy SchemeCareer ProgressionWorkplace PensionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeWhile technology continues to evolve, its our people who set us apart.
