Multi Trade Operative - Temp to PermLocation: Grantham and Melton MowbrayPay rate: £23 per hour CIS (Own van required) 20p per mile paidFortus recruitment are currently seeking experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join a well established social housing contractor covering Grantham and Melton Mowbray. This role involves carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works within social housing properties mainly working on kitchen and bathroom projects and void property refurbishments .The ideal candidate will have a strong all-round skillset and take pride in delivering high-quality work while providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out reactive maintenance repairs within social housing propertiesCompleting a range of multi-trade works including: Carpentry repairs and installationsBasic plumbing maintenanceWall and floor tilingPatch plastering and making goodInternal painting and decoratingDiagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and safelyEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulationsMaintaining clear communication with tenants and office staffKeeping company vehicle and equipment in good conditionRequirements:Proven experience working as a Multi Trade OperativeCompetent across carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decoratingPrevious experience within social housing or reactive maintenance preferredFull UK driving licence essentialAbility to work independently and manage daily workloads effectivelyStrong customer service and communication skillsWhat We Offer:Temp to perm oppurtunity20p per mile paidLong-term, secure workSupportive working environmentOpportunities for career progression and developmentTPBN1_UKTJ
