These positions reflect our investment in people, capabilities and innovation as we continue to build for the future.The Recipe (About the Role) Design, develop, validate and optimise manufacturing and packaging processes to improve safety, quality, cost, capacity and reliability across operations. To manage multiple process capability improvement projects, audit plants capability, conduct trials, help with business units with technical advice and guidance, and training of both shift-based teams and guide teams in new tools, techniques, and procedures.Manage and deliver step change process improvement projects of a performance, capability, capacity, quality, and cost reduction technical nature across operationsProvide robust, accurate and well concluded technical reports on project outcomes and communicate effectively to stakeholdersEnsure changes and ways of working, centrelines, standard settings are well documented and incorporated into ways of workingEngage with key internal stakeholders to change behaviour to positively drive process improvementWhere needed facilitate, train and coach, ensuring strong engagement with the teams related to the projects or activitiesProvide effective reactive guidance for escalated plants issues and coach GSTD (Go, See, Think, Do) techniques during these interventionsConduct trials on new methods & systems, equipment & processesSubject Matter expert (SME) for key processing technologiesGuide business units to comply with current and new Weetabix standards in process & equipment operations, including auditing and facilitation of higher-level auditsTo manage external resources and contractors when deployedCoordination with capital projects and reliability engineering on key business improvement initiatives to ensure the robust and sustainable solutions and processes are adoptedComplete Professional Development to maintain awareness of regulatory and compliance requirementsUndertake any other duties, consistent with the level of the role, skills and experience, as may be reasonably required to guide the businessThe Ingredients (What we need from you) Key Know How:Knowledge:HND level or equivalent qualifications in engineering, quality, or a similar technical biasGreen or Black Belt in Six Sigma- Knowledge of statistics and SPC (Statistical Process Control), practical skillsAdvanced user of ExcelExcellent problem solver with a good insight of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) or similar methodologyProject management qualification (Desirable)H&S and food safety qualification (Desirable)Experience:Engineering or quality backgroundExperience within FMCG environment and proven food process engineering knowledgeManaging complex projectsGood insight of LEAN and Continuous Improvement tools and methodologiesDedication to team working, workplace safety and overall product quality.Ability to deliver results on time in fullSelf-motivated and able to priorities ad work well under pressureOrganised and detail orientedYour Bowl of Perks (Benefits) Competitive salary & Annual Flexible benefitsWe offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, career, and life outside work.Annual bonusDouble-matched pension scheme (up to 12% from us)25 days annual leave increasing with serviceAnnual Salary reviewHealthcare planDiscounted Weetabix productsTo support our employees, we also offer:Continued investment in your personal developmentWe believe in balance, whether it's for family, rest or simply time for you.
