Position Available : Cloud Security EngineerLocation : Oxfordshire (1 day per week in office)Salary : £50,000 - £62,000 + BenefitsExperience needed : Experience securing AWS cloud environments with strong knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, and security engineering principles. We're looking for someone with solid AWS and networking fundamentals who enjoys solving security challenges.About our TeamWe're looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team, helping to design, implement and continuously improve the security controls that protect large-scale AWS environments.Working closely with Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Engineering and Cloud Engineering teams, you'll build and maintain cloud security solutions, improve security automation, and help embed security best practice across the organisation.This role would suit someone with a strong AWS infrastructure background who enjoys solving security problems and wants to develop their career within Security Engineering.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain security controls across AWS cloud environmentsBuild and manage Infrastructure as Code using TerraformDevelop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsDeploy, configure and optimise cloud security tooling and monitoring solutionsImprove cloud security posture through automation, logging, alerting and continuous improvementWork closely with engineering teams to embed security into cloud platforms and application deliverySupport incident response, investigations and remediation activitiesContribute to security-by-design initiatives across cloud infrastructureRequirementsWe're looking for someone who can demonstrate strong commercial experience across AWS cloud infrastructure together with a solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals.You'll ideally have experience with:Commercial AWS experienceStrong understanding of AWS networking and infrastructure fundamentalsTerraform and Infrastructure as CodeCI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions or similar)Linux and scripting (Python/Bash)Docker, ECS, EKS or KubernetesGood understanding of cloud security principles, IAM and common web security vulnerabilitiesExperience with services such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector or WAF would be advantageous.If you'd like to learn more or register your interest, hit apply as we'd love to hear from you!TPBN1_UKTJ
