Conveniently located, we are a two-minute walk from Marylebone mainline and Underground stations, and within a ten-minute walk of Baker Street and Edgware Road Underground stations.We are owned by the international medical group Emeis, delivering the full spectrum of psychiatric care, alongside high-quality care home and rehabilitation services across the globe.The main purpose of the jobAs the Eating Disorders Lead Therapist , you will provide clinical and operational leadership for our specialist Eating Disorders Therapy Service. Working closely with the Head of Therapies, you will lead a highly skilled multidisciplinary therapy team, ensuring the delivery of safe, innovative and evidence-based care for patients experiencing eating disorders.You will play a key role in shaping and developing our therapeutic programme, maintaining clinical oversight of both group and individual therapies delivered by psychology, psychotherapy, occupational therapy and dietetics colleagues. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will maintain a clinical caseload of complex patients, providing specialist assessment, formulation and intervention while supporting the wider multidisciplinary team through expert consultation and clinical leadership.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced therapist who is passionate about service development, quality improvement and delivering outstanding patient care within a specialist mental health setting.Who we're looking forYou will be a qualified and professionally registered therapist (such as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapist or other Allied Health Professional) with current registration with the appropriate professional body (HCPC, BACP, UKCP or equivalent).You will have significant post-qualification experience working within specialist Eating Disorders services.You will have experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, providing both clinical and managerial supervision.You will have excellent knowledge of evidence-based interventions for eating disorders and current national guidance and best practice.You will have experience managing complex clinical presentations, supporting multidisciplinary decision-making and delivering high-quality patient-centred care.You will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop others.Above all, you will be compassionate, collaborative and committed to supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.Main responsibilitiesAs the Eating Disorders Lead Therapist, you will:Lead, develop and evaluate the specialist Eating Disorders Therapy Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all therapy provision within the Eating Disorders Service, including group and one-to-one interventions.Maintain a clinical caseload, delivering specialist assessment, formulation and therapeutic interventions for patients with complex needs.Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of therapists and allied health professionals through effective supervision, mentoring and performance management.Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care.Drive service development and continuous quality improvement, introducing innovative therapeutic approaches where appropriate.Ensure therapy programmes remain responsive to patient needs, clinically effective and aligned with current evidence-based practice.Support recruitment, retention and professional development of the therapy team.Promote a culture of recovery-focused, compassionate and patient-centred care across the service.Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus an additional London Allowance of £4,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time roles).Job type: minimum 30 hours per week / maximum 37.5 hours per weekMain benefitsWe offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including:Competitive salary plus an additional London Allowance of £4,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time roles)Negotiable relocation allowance25 days' annual leave (increasing to 30 days with long service), plus bank holidaysOpportunities for continuing professional development (CPD) and specialist trainingGenerous company pension scheme with The People's PensionTravel loan schemeAnnual discretionary staff bonusOn-site restaurant with subsidised staff meals for breakfast, lunch and dinnerEmployee Assistance ProgrammeComprehensive staff benefits package, including discounts and wellbeing appsAccess to our employee benefits portalFree life assurance cover (4x salary)Free eye tests and contribution towards the cost of glasses (where required)Long service recognition*Enhanced maternity and paternity pay*Long-term disability insurance*T&Cs APPLYThank you so much for taking the time to apply.
