Community Care Worker and ResponderLooking for a role where every shift genuinely matters? As a Community Care Worker and Responder, you will support residents to live safely, independently and with dignity within their own homes and retirement village communities.What youll doYou will join a supportive village services team delivering planned care, responding to emergency alarm calls and promoting day-to-day wellbeing. The role combines hands-on personal care, companionship and responsive support, helping people maintain independence while feeling safe and connected.Key Responsibilities - Care & SupportDeliver person-centred care in line with individual care plansSupport with personal care including washing, dressing and toiletingAssist with meals, light housekeeping and daily routinesEncourage independence and choice in daily livingProvide companionship and emotional supportSupport access to activities and community engagementKey Responsibilities - Wellbeing & Emergency ResponseRespond quickly to emergency alarm callsProvide basic first aid within training where requiredEscalate concerns to emergency services or senior staffMonitor and report changes in wellbeingSupport coordination of healthcare appointments and referralsMaintain accurate care notes and incident recordsWorking HoursFlexible working patterns based on service needs.Shifts range from 6 to 12 hours depending on service needs.You will be paid from the start to the end of your shift.A regular weekly rota will be agreed wherever possible.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious care experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.Commitment to complete Care Certificate NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).Enhanced DBS check, right to work in the UK required.Ability to provide three references, at least one professionalWhat We OfferComprehensive training and ongoing development.Flexible working patternsA supportive team environment with on-call support.An opportunity to make a genuine difference to peoples lives every day.There is no driving required between visits as all accommodation is within walking distance.If you are caring, dependable and passionate about supporting people to live independently with dignity, we would love to hear from you.Click Apply Now to start your journey with usTPBN1_UKTJ
