Job Description
Location: Kendal or Carlisle (with occasional travel across Cumria)
\nHours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
\nSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (£23.07 per hour)
\nContract: Temporary
\n\nOur client is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Installation Manager to oversee multiple conservatory, orangery and extension installation projects across Cumbria.
\n\nThis is a hands-on role managing surveyors, fitting teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. The position is primarily office-based in either Kendal or Carlisle, with occasional site visits across the region when required.
\n Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Review contracts and allocate work to surveyors. \n
- Coordinate fitting teams and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly. \n
- Provide technical support and resolve installation challenges. \n
- Act as the main point of contact between customers, trades and contractors. \n
- Attend sites to oversee progress, resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. \n
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times. \n
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards and successful completion of contracts. \n
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders. \n
- \n
- Previous experience in Project Management, Contracts Management, Site Management or Installation Management. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Good technical understanding of construction or installation processes. \n
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Experience leading teams and coordinating subcontractors. \n
- \n
- Knowledge of the windows, doors, conservatory or home improvement industry. \n
- Alternatively, experience within residential construction, new build projects or a related construction environment. \n
